‘Bellevue Medical Center’ Opens New Cardiac Cath Lab
Oct 2011

According to the latest national statistics*, cardiovascular diseases account for 60% of causes of death from prevailing health conditions in older adults in Lebanon. With a determined vision in mind to fight one of the most widespread diseases in Lebanon & the world, Bellevue Medical Center (BMC) has opened its new Catheterization Lab

Investing every moment in a patient’s life is crucial to saving his or her life, and this has led us to building the lab through a unique platform that is exceptionally equipped to make any heart procedure take place immediately amidst the adjacently located emergency room, cardiology and radiology departments and cardiac care unit. This layout has been proven beneficial with the least amount of danger and allows for an effective medical procedure and the shortest timeframe to saving our patient’s life.

BMC does not depend mainly on using the latest equipment and unique medical technology, but has recruited an expert team of physicians and planned its layout with an exceptional engineering brilliance that allows for any type of cardiology tests to take place within less than five minutes from the patient’s arrival to the hospital. In addition, ‘Bellevue International Training Center’ aimed at advancing a culture of awareness, prevention and action while sharing best practices and technical knowledge to save lives and reduce disability from heart disease and stroke by means of cardio-pulmonary resuscitation (CPR) training.
